She studied Veterinary medicine in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her MSc thesis was on the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) - Medical School of University of Thessaly. From May 2014 she has worked as Veterinarian-Special Scientist in the Veterinary Research Institute – Hellenic Agricultural Organization - DEMETER (former NAGREF), while in the meantime works on her PhD in collaboration with the Laboratory of Hygiene & Epidemiology of Medical School of University of Thessaly.
