Biologist, PhD in Molecular Biology (School of Biology, AUTh). From November 2015 she works as an Assistant Researcher in Veterinary Research Institute. Her topic is Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of animals and microorganisms.

Research activities: study of lipid metabolism in farmed fish species through the analysis of nuclear receptors PPARs and their target genes, study of the effect of pollutants in the transcription of genes of fish species, genotype, identification of Lactic Acid bacteria using Multiplex and Real Time PCR, identification and differentiation of bacterial strains using molecular techniques, identification of different animal origin milk: qualification and quantification by PCR, Multiplex PCR and Real Time PCR
